Wow, this is really interesting. First of all, I’d like to say that oxytocin sounds like a very manipulative hormone. In my short take on the withdrawals is that when I reach the point where the opioids don’t seem to be working I just sit around slurp and Gatorade. I don’t actually feel bad but family members and friends can say you look really rough which I suppose is the physical effects. The combination of enduring the pain and the opioids going away probably makes me look like hell. It does make me curious about what this euphoric sense of well-being would be. I know that it feels good when the pain goes away, but certainly nothing I would call euphoria. I don’t even know what that is.
I think it has to do with the emotional place most people live being smoothed out. As psychopaths, we have no idea what living with that is like, nor what a break from it would feel like. Perhaps the euphoria is just them coming into the mental space that is much like ours. Quiet, and content, but with positive emotions in the same level that they normally feel the negative ones, so they seem amplified.
I imagine it is like the same knobs on a radio type thing, similar to how psychopaths traits are presented by Dutton, but in this case the negative is turned down, so they enter a state somewhat similar to how we live, but then the positive emotions are still there, and because there is nothing tempering them, they seem amplified. We lack the ability to feel anything deeply, so we have no understanding of that side of it, and also can't understand what it's like to have negative feelings that suddenly vanish. We can just understand a neutral state that might be a part of it.
I read this post very carefully and pondered. It appears Psychopath is more deliberate than I am, more controlled, self aware and generally more powerful.
It is little wonder people meeting you want to hang out or be with you.
Well, the cliché is true then, the grass is always greener...
Or people simply would like to have their cake and eat it (there is NO cake!).
Or... It's perhaps seen like an RPG - oh, just invest in negative emotion annulization, fear removal, positive emotion amplitude and so on... Perhaps we'll reach that in maybe.... 2000 years when nanobots are available and we can easily rewire the brain and such? But then, no neurodivergence?
Just like feeling no pain, people don't realize there are downsides to everything. Imagine having to manually learn everything instead of relying on built-in cues to people's behavior. True, when a child you have leeway. But not so as an adult!
Imagine an influx of newfangled adult psychopaths that used to be neurotypical by such a nanobot procedure. Now, you have impulses and people dying and getting wounded in droves because they need to manually stop themselves and stop to think: is it a good idea? And that is a skill that needs to be learned.
You ARE Bad. So true!! We all subject to this!! I admit there are beautiful girls that I want to take from their families!! hehehe. I think someone older than me!! So don't despair of my intent!!
But you are so right!! Those People covet the qualities Athena has. Or something. Maybe they are just greedy for money, but it seems a a lot of work and it is like lying to your own self. How bad must a person feel to lie to their self? Horrors
It's like a fish trying to climb a tree. Just maximize your own abilities sir! You cannot get what you cannot get! (Oh I am so genius - cannot get what cannot get, yes siree so logical sentence haha!)
I don't know what other occasions people may lack the ability to process oxytocin, so it is hard to say that it means anything outside of, this is something true about psychopaths, but unknown in terms of others.

Perhaps
AW: You always let me respond no matter what. You never limit me. So I try hard to be appropriate. Idk this one:
I do feel at least two things.
One is Anger. An Anger a person can be proud of: One kept burning and hot IF needed.
Two. I can feel terror.
Thank you always It might turn out I feel a lot of things.
Mi amor: If you have a second, please reserve those: do you see?
The terror came first?
Ah.
That is like a child that googles and google doesn't support him so he goes "WeLl AcHtUaLlY".
Entering with expectations and then using that bias after you are wrong is what causes that kind of behavior.
You MUST be right! Or else!
Thanks for making me laugh! People who write about Psychopaths seem to know them the least.
"Or else!" So TRUE! Always threats and control. They seem frightened. Fearful.
Eh. People do not like when someone else has what they covet. And that... That has to be controlled.
So true. They see it as a one dimensional concept, and not the entirety of what it is, so they covet what they do not understand.
I wonder if they'd like it if they knew they'd be giving up euphoria and all those positive powerful feelings...
No, they don't realize that. I have talked with enough people to know they only see the one side, save for a select few.

Well done! Can’t wait for the third part.
"By their argument, fifty to eighty percent of prisoners should be addiction immune"
In California, it is the opposite: 50% to 80% prisoners are drug user/addicts.
"Psychopaths lack the ability to process oxytocin"
Likely you said this 10,000 times! But this is the first time I really noticed such a flat statement.
In terms of identifying Psychopaths, doesn't this fact has some authentic value?
I really appreciate your work and this material. Thank you.

they really did a whole lot of nothing with that study
I have to agree. It's like, they're soooo close, and they whiffed it.
