Twin Flames Part Three

The Cult...

I really had little interest in diving into the notion of Twin Flames as much as I have, but I did have an interest in trying to figure out why people have this notion of it existing, and wouldn’t you know it? There is a whole can of worms that just had to be opened, so now we are going to get into a world that is totally different from the norm. This is the very abbreviated version of the Twin Flames Universe, which appears to be a literal cult, as well as MLM love scam. I don’t know how else to describe it. If you want the truly deep dive, you can watch below, but it will take up three hours of your day, and that is without watching the Netflix docuseries on them, and that’s a ride in itself, and also the one on Amazon Prime that goes into more history. The players:

Jeff and Shaleia Ayan/Divine, because of course that’s the name they would choose…

Also, Jeffy Boy is apparently the second coming of Christ, because, you know, having somewhat long hair and a beard is the criteria for making that claim. He actually says this, I am not being hyperbolic. He describes himself, and says that yes, he is suggesting that he might be Christ. Jeffy Boy apparently has never gone to a biker bar, because long hair and a beard is a staple in that environment, and I doubt any of them are thinking, “Yeah, I might be a one-percenter, but my hair and beard make it clear, I’m the son of God.” This dude is so insufferable…

Jeffy Boy was born into a Greek Orthodox family, then he apparently converted to Catholicism when he was seven, and that’s a bit odd to me. How does a person know enough at seven to convert to anything? Maybe this is a family conversion, but again, that’s weird, because faith is a pretty personal thing, but what the hell do I know. Anyway, he went to Catholic school, and then public school, but felt drawn to religion.

The reason I am giving you this background is so you will understand where he learned the small amount about religion that he will later pervert to build his cult on. I am sure he believes he knows a great deal, but I am familiar with people that have devoted their entire lives to religion, be them monks, priests, nuns, etc., and they will tell you that they know very little about their faith. Jeffy Boy doesn’t have that pedigree, and no, I am not buying the “Son of God” routine, because I personally have known two “Sons of God”, that believed wholeheartedly, and the only thing that the three have in common is the long hair, the beard, and oh yes, they’re all nuts. Religious delusions at their finest.

So Jesus Jeffy, and Shaleia (who we will get to) have decided that they know all the things about Twin Flames. How do they know? Well for that, we have to look at the organization itself, and what it seems to have been constructed for. On the one hand, you have these two people that claim to be each other’s twin flame. I do not believe in this concept. I think that it is something far more like obsession to the point of mental health problems, not a healthy relationship, but that is not really the point, because regardless, I don’t think that was ever the basis for this relationship anyway.

I think, based on watching the two of them together, that their relationship was always unhealthy, but also something that could be used to target other people to make a get rich quick kind of scheme, at least for Jesus Jeffy. If you want to see the history of Jeffy boy and Shaleia, the Prime documentary is the best place for that. However, in brief summary, Jeff always wanted to be rich, and make his mark on the world, and I think that Shaleia is the type who is in love with love, and thought she found her TF in him, but when it became a business, she seems to have folded herself right on in there. I don’t think this is a case where she is along for the ride, unwittingly duping herself into this fantasy of the TF. The reason I think this is how she and Jeff interact over the lifetime of their videos. There is a definite shift in their body language toward one another.

It also feels to me that Jeff thinks of himself as a one-man show, and Shaleia is just there as set dressing, while Shaleia seems to believe that they are actually partners in this. This is supported by several things I have heard Jeff say, but also in his overall belief in himself to be something, or someone, holy. This is apparent with some of his former members, Catrina, and Anne.

Catrina and Anne are former members. They were both in the closet, both avoided coming out because they weren’t ready, and chose heterosexual partners, despite their feelings for one another. When Catrina was pregnant with her second child, Anne told her her feelings about her, and that left Catrina having to really figure out how she felt, and what she wanted. Anne, thinking her relationship with romance was dysfunctional, found TFU. Jeff informs them that, yes, they are TF, and states to them:

“You are strong, because of what I gave to you. I gave you that gift, and yes, you called for it. But, without me, you could not have done that.”

Jeff and Shaleia informed them that they are, indeed, TF, but I can’t help but notice in that quote, it isn’t, “because of what we gave to you, but rather, because of what I gave to you.” They did a meditation with the two women, and when it was over he stated that they were in “harmonious twin flame union”. So, I thought, at first, this appeared to be Jeff trying to take on some sort of spiritual energy work, or something that gives the impression that he has the power to manipulate the universe in order to conform their souls into a perfect balance… and I’m thinking… no. However, that is not what is being discussed. No, no, no, “harmonious twin flame union”, is like the TF union you read about on the internet, but with extra special sauce, meaning like it’s a super TF union, and I’m still thinking… no.

Keep in mind, these two women have families that they choose to have. Let me give you the breakdown of how many people this affected by one of their own quotes:

“From April, when we recognized each other as twin flames, I was moved out. We were moved in together in August, like… with kids. Like, we have between us, like five kids, two baby daddies, me, a marriage. Like… no jobs. Neither one of us have jobs.”

That is a lot of collateral damage. No one made them do this, no one told them, you will have children, or you will be exiled to the furthest reaches of space. They might have been afraid of coming out, and fair enough, but having marriages, having children, these are responsibilities, and frankly, unless there is something wrong in the marriage itself, you don’t get to blow it up because you have fee fees for someone else. That is what a child does. Instead, you have to deal with the consequences of your actions, and to me, that means, you stick it out, so those children have both of their parents until they reach their majority.

Of course, Jesus Jeffy and the star queen don’t have a responsible bone in their bodies, so not only do they encourage the women blowing up their lives, they also look at them and think, you know what? We can use them to recruit more people into our MLM love fraud extravaganza. That’s what you get for being twin flames with extra special sauce on top. They ask Catrina and Anne to be teachers for their classes, because of course they do. You have that special sauce, so you should go out there and teach it, I guess.

Would Catrina and Anne have left their families for each other, without the TFU? Maybe, or maybe they would look at their lives and decide, this is too much to place on all these other people that we placed into our lives, and maybe, just maybe, the mature thing to do is be invested in the lives we have already built. However, Jeff and Shaleia don’t say, hey, maybe you will achieve what we have (which they do not have, but we will get to that in a bit), they guarantee that you will have it.

Catrina and Anne are convenient for Jeffy and Shaleia. They are an “example” of their twin flame union. They get recruited as “coaches”. This comes about at a time, as they mentioned above, they had no employment, and they had kids to support. They were supposed to be able to keep all the money that they made for teaching these courses, so of course, they accepted. They do pretty well, and that stands to reason. The higher up you are in the MLM, the more you make. Usually MLMs are based on product movement, this one is about selling rebranded stalking to the lonely.

Well, now Catrina and Anne are teachers, and Jeff and Shaleia absolutely need these two to be in their little cult, because they, other than Jeff and Shaleia themselves, are literally the only couple. Everyone else is still on the hunt, or, as we will see, actively stalking their TF. Jeff and Shaleia will trot out Cary and Anne whenever they need an injection of faith back into the group. Feel despair about finding your TF? Never fear, Catrina and Anne are here. See, they did it. Now, what’s wrong with you? This is a simple formula, didn’t you know? Follow it, and you will get results. Not just hypothetical ones, guaranteed results.

“So, if you stay with us, you will learn the process for coming into harmonious union. It’s a simple, clear, straightforward science.”

They state that they have “Solid, ironclad, guarantee. We guarantee harmonious union with true twin flame, as a result of this class”.

Apparently they are not familiar with the notion of what a guarantee is, or, perhaps they are, which is why things will soon go off a cliff.

Here is where I would also like to ask a question. What is there to teach about this supposed twin flame situation? If you are literally two halves of the same soul, then you should probably like… recognize that right away, right? Crowded room, eyes meet, and the sudden realization, oh that’s where I put that thing. I’ve been looking for it for like the longest time. I was sure it was under the bed, but it’s heavy, and I couldn’t quite fit, and I couldn’t move it by myself, but no, they’ve been waiting for me at this cocktail party, or whatever. How do you teach that? You can’t. What you can do is tell people a bunch of nonsense that promises them the world, however, and to make it sellable, you have to have convincing products on the floor. Thus, Catrina and Anne.

As Jeffy boy said:

“Welcome students. Welcome viewers. Welcome, everyone, to this class. This is the business of coming into harmonious twin flame union.”

What could go wrong? Oh my lord, all the things, and then more things, that is what could go wrong, and in the worst ways possible.
