I am working on a post that addresses the “overlap between BPD and psychopathy” and it is a lot. I can either do it in one part, more abbreviated, or two parts, which would be more in-depth, and go over all the parts of the article.
Anyone want to weigh in with their preferences? I could also just not do the article at all. That is always an option.
All right, good to know. I am looking at this article and every time I think, I should summarize this because this is getting freaking long, the information just isn't really condensable.
I’d say definitely two parts. Something as expansive as those two topics, I’d love to hear what you have to say in a more in-depth environment, rather than shorting out on some really good explanations and insight
Sounds like a big topic, so 2 parts would be great, I agree. A note: when I saw "BPD" I thought, "uh oh..." for this reason; would love if you could touch on it. There are lots of Youtubes about people who've been misdiagnosed as BPD this way also.
Definitely do the article on whatever schedule and in whatever format suits the content. I have a daughter with BPD and a husband on the spectrum and neither of them has any personal of remorse (their assertion). Always interested in hearing how these areas of neurological/psychokogical functioning overlap or don’t.
I would personally most certainly be interested to read this in multiple parts Athena. Thank you for raising this.
A discussion I was recently having with a friend who told me he has symptoms of ASPD got me seriously wondering if it is possible for somebody to have BPD as well as at least aspects of ASPD (that go beyond what people on average possess).
Part of me doesn’t believe in personality disorders. We are who we are before we ever enter preschool. Our own behavior determines our short and long-term neural pathways.
would love to see this!! i can't speak for everyone, but i actually like the 2+ part ones. it's easier to digest imo

If it's not condensable what would be the demarcation boundary between part 1 and part 2? Is there some natural boundary between the parts?
Good question, so I will look it over tomorrow and try to figure it out. I tend to write as I read so I currently don't know where a good one is yet.
Best not try to condense the incondensable then! More for us to enjoy.

That is very interesting. Thank you for the link
I’m surprised to hear polar opposites have so much overlap. Bpd = to much emotion psychopathy = very little emotion
I will be interested to see what you have to say.
Two part!

I'd prefer two parts. I didn't even know that there was an overlap!
That sounds awesome either way to me! Thanks!
I'm looking forward to read it.
I would suggest making it in two parts, and maybe summarizing the key points at the end.
two part, I'd love to see it in depth
Whichever you choose,.I'm sure it will be worth the wait
Two! The more info, the more interesting!
Two. Lots of material to cover there.

I prefer the two parts as well! Thank you for asking!
Do it.
Two, Athena! Thanks for asking. If there is a lot to say I would be delighted to hear it from your hands.
