Yea I definitely think you wrote a post and I think the main thrust of your argument was you can’t always trust people to have your best interest at heart and sometimes you have to save yourself. Though I will admit I’m not entirely sure that was here or on Quora.

That's what I remember as well, but damn, I cannot find it anywhere.

I remember about the paranormal...

Would love to read your article on the Paranormal some dark stormy evening!

I will try to find the one I am pretty sure I wrote, and add some other experiences to it.

That is one of them, yes. Thank you

While I don’t recall the ferry article you wrote, as soon as I read South Korea and moral consequences I vividly remember reading something by you that included an example - a shoddily made building that collapsed due to cut corners. It might be one of the posts you’re thinking of?

Thank you, Luna. Unfortunately, no, that one isn't one of them. It is one of the two that come up when I search, but the ferry one, I am sure I wrote it up, but it's simply gone.

I remember you wrote a post about a haunted house

Do you remember anything more specific about it?

Thank you, Yvonne. That's awesome

You're welcome; searching my Gmail for ... Athena and paranormal, or Athena and haunt, etc. worked better than attempts in Substack. Also Google searches.

Yes, I have done those as well, and still, no luck on the ferry disaster. It's like it disappeared.

I believe you touched on it when talking about trust. Replacing someone for an event and driving down a deserted road driveway and losing time.

Expand full comment

Yes, that is definitely one of them. I guess I will keep looking

I remember the S. Korea ferri one.

Those are the only two I can find, but I am pretty certain that I wrote a much more in depth version of the ferry disaster, but it is literally no where that I can find. Even my SO remembers me doing the research for it, and has been helping me comb through my posts to find it, but so far, nothing.

Thank you, Aurora. I can't find it either, and its absence is a real mystery. I recall writing it, my SO remembers me researching it, you, like a couple of other people remember reading it, but it is nowhere to be found.

Maybe we're collectively hallucinating and manipulating each other into thinking there was ever a post.

Expand full comment

Maybe, it's certainly possible.

this level of details is all i remember

Expand full comment

Same. I can't recall any of the other details.

I found that one, and I found where I mentioned it in one of my other posts, but neither of them are the really in depth post I wrote about it. Kaye remembers the conclusion correctly, so it exists somewhere, but where is anyone's guess right now.

Keep us posted if and when you find it. Athena, I really wish you had someone to help organize all of your writing—whether for a book or at least to have everything categorized topically and preserved in one place. I understand that kind of work isn’t really your thing, but surely there’s a program out there that could assist with it. The internet is so ephemeral, and your writing, especially on the topic of psychopathy, is too important to lose!

I remember there being content about paranormal / unexplained events, in addition to what TS6157 commented about.

Thank you, I will keep looking.

The closest I could come was your post on 9/21/22. It was about the the Sampoong mall in South Korea. Maybe that gives you some timeline hint. Best I could do.

I appreciate that, Richard.

Thank you.

That one still shows up for me, but searching for anything having to do with the ferry disaster only comes up with a Quora answer, and a post where I mentioned it.
